Mooney Views
Not to be deterred from our unsuccessful cache find at Mooney Valley Micro, we ventured further up the Old Pacific Highway to the location as specified in Mooney Views.
The GPS receiver seemed pretty convinced our Ground Zero was at a bridge abutment where the Old Highway crosses the F3, very high above it. There was a ladder going down with an access walkway under this bridge. I took a look, but sadly – could not find the cache. Perhaps I was too distracted by the view?
