Thunder of the guns II
A short drive along the Central Coast Highway brought us to our next cache hunt: Thunder of the guns II.
On arrival it’s easy to see how this cache got its name. We did a bit of scratchin’ around high and low, and after a bit of feeling around we fairly quickly found this micro cache discretely hidden in a pocket of darkness.
Gunner Wolfie takes aim at Muggles
The only problem with this location – Muggles of course! Especially the caretaker who was looking after the grounds and eyed us suspiciously as we played with his gun. He approached within a few metres, pretending to be collecting trash from the ground – the whole time his eyes on our activities.
Thankfully we discretely retrieved the cache, signed the book, replaced it – without him noticing exactly where we’d taken it from. Who knows what he would have done!?
