GCTZ15 Little Beach
This has to be one of the Central Coast’s best kept secrets. “Little Beach” is just that – a little beach, nestled in a bay of the leafy Bouddi National Park. We actually had no plans to visit this cache today, just driving past I thought – “wow, that looks really nice in there…” – so parked the car and decided to take the bush track toward the beach.
Along the way I got out the iPhone to check for caches in the area – and sure enough, I was headed straight for Little Beach GCTZ15 – great stuff!
I absolutely loved this cache. Beaches are great, and caches on (or near) the beach are just fantastic… and it’s good to find a medium-sized cache with room for swapping treasures. It actually astounded us that this cache was in such excellent condition, given the log book indicates its presence since 2006! It looks no more than a week or two old – so congratulations to user “Grank” (the hider of this cache) for choosing such a durable container for this relatively harsh environment. It’s holding up very well against the elements!
We swapped an orange “gem” for a Koala keyring, and signed the log book. Thanks for the cache.
